A few times now I’ve tried to do the Tuesday Night Pub Quiz at an Irish Pub in Stuttgart. It’s free to enter and the first prize is a bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey. And after teaming up with a group containing two Basques, a girl from Catalonia Galicia and her German boyfriend, we won! By 8 clear points. I’ve tried it twice before and come in like 4th and 2nd, but it was quite enjoyable to win. At the end of the quiz, the whiskey generally gets poured into glasses and you share it around everyone in the pub whose taken part anyway, which doesn’t exactly make you an unpopular winner.
I may even go again….
