We’re certainly not going to mention the UKIP except when it looks like they’re going to split the Tory vote in marginal seats. We’ll do some bits about the SNP and Plaid Cymru and although we know that Sinn Féin are the good guys and Ian Paisley’s lot wear bowler hats, we’re never quite sure about the SDLP, so we’ll pretty much leave the Northern Irish parties alone. We might even manage to fit in one of those ‘people do the funniest things’ stories about the Asian businessman who, in an astonishing turn of events, is standing as a conservative candidate.”
My satellite dish is too small to get really clear reception of the BBC in Southern Germany, but that’s what they appeared to be saying…..
