Exactly 200 Years Ago Today…

…My Great-great-great grandfather was born. For some reason, can’t imagine why - the name was probably common at the time - they christened him Henry.

Here endeth my contribution to the “On this day in history” craze that will no doubt be sweeping the combined French and Spanish speaking parts of the internet before it today. Crack out the rum.

EasyJetsetter: I never touch a drop before the sun goes down (don’t you just love those long winter nights)? And I have to be up at 5:30 a.m. tomorrow or something silly. So best to start early and give me time to sleep it off….. Actually, blame it on “just been running and feel happy” endorphins.

Ms. Tassles: Welcome back! Life seems pretty easy, thanks.

ms. mac: Nothing against the French of course, they’re our bestest friends now. Sort of. Well, er. Okay! Huzzah!
