That book thingie, featuring “writing from the rising stars of online journalism” and stuff will be, you know, like, “out” on Friday. Despite signing all the release paper bits, I’m not sure whether the editor character will actually put someone living in Germany in a book of the best of British blogging (and no, I don’t need anyone to point out that “not being very good” would be a perfectly acceptable reason either). On the other hand, as the editor lives in Portugal……
It could just be a cheap marketing ploy; that he’s asked loads of people to sign release forms, just so that they get their mothers to buy ten copies as Christmas gifts, and that their entries aren’t in at all - however, as I definetly don’t want my mother to read my entry, that’s not going to work in my case.
Anyway, the book, in all its wondrous glory is available to pre-order at amazon.co.uk- but not .com or .de (it’s the best of British blogging, see?) and that advert at the top right tells you how much it costs at the moment and if my mother did decide to buy ten copies she’d better bloody do it by clicking on that ad, because I make about three-and-a-half pence for every sale from that link.

Mum? Yes.
KB may or may not like the commentary that goes with it.
Tim: Should I have published the e-mail traffic which accompanied the post? Or explain that I now spend four days per month with various women who fell for the post?
Should be an interesting read.
I only knew of one but yes, that’s what the commentary is about.
