Weather: Southern versionIf you’re going for a job interview in London, check the weather forecast for London, as opposed to, say, Buxton. That way you won’t find yourself at the interview in a 3-piece woolen suit as BBC London TV says; “and with brilliant, clear skies, temperatures reaching 32°C - that’s the low 90’s - in central London, today will be the hottest of the year so far.” This handy tip can help prevent a red face – and eventual dehydration.
Ah well, thanks to a “…one of many high calibre candidates, however we regret to inform you…” letter, I get the chance to use my own advice in the future.
Oh, but I should remember to take a coat and umbrella because it goes without saying that when I got off the train on my return “home” it was, of course, cold and raining.
