I don't know, but it had a little strip of purple LEDs under its headlights - I believe they come as standard with the 1.0l engine - I only saw it in the rear mirror. There must, I mean really, there *must* have been a whale tail, but by then I was rolling gently to the hard shoulder wondering what all the blinking (as it were) symbols on the dashboard stood for....

And I'm still okay on top for the moment - but I've got the convertible thing out of my system. That said, if I was ever offered a classic 50's two-seater it would be difficult not spending the money I've set aside for any future weaves.....

Did the Clio have a Whale-Tail?! That seems to be terribly de rigeur amongst da yoot an ting currently.

A convertible eh, you boy racer you, when you say you had it before balding does this mean that the wearing of a syrup has precluded any further open-top action?!

Red Baron: I seem to remember that Renault once released a ready-made souped-up Clio, with gold alloy wheels for that ultimate twatty look.....
Having said that, as a man who once owned a convertible, it's probably best that I say nothing (but at least I got it out of my system before I got middle-aged and bald).

I find the best thing to do with the souped up cars is to just point and laugh at them as they go past, anyone who soups up a Clio has a) something of an insecurity issue and b) very little intelligence so they get quite wound up and of course they don't know what you're laughing at, drives them batty!

Of course it spoils the image somewhat if you're in the process of crawling to the hard shoulder at the time!
